Victor Xu (vixu) is a Canadian recording artist, composer, and pianist known for his introspective blend of post-impressionist piano, jazz, alternative, indie, and R&B. His work spans solo releases, band projects, and collaborations with Grammy and Juno nominated artists.
vixu is an accomplished performer and a recipient of the Oliver Lower Prize in Jazz Piano and the Oscar Peterson Scholarship. He has toured extensively across North America and Europe, with features at events such as the JUNO Awards and Danse Danse at Place Des Arts. His compositions have supported award-winning dance works and multimedia campaigns, while his discography showcases a wide-ranging sonic palette—from contemporary piano improvisation to electronic production.
Beyond performance, vixu is a dedicated music educator, teaching piano, theory, and production in Toronto. He continues to release new music, available on major streaming platforms
